This month, with the help of Doug Quinn, we invested some time in the why, when and how of raising finance for your business. We looked at how to keep your cool through the process, managing people\u2019s expectations, not getting blinkered about \u2018having to do the deal, any deal\u2026\u2019 and keeping your eye on the big picture of when a deal is a good one for you<\/p>\n

with Doug Quinn ACMA<\/h3>\n

Doug is currently Finance Director with Cirrus, a leadership development and talent strategy company and also Videregen, an early stage regenerative medicine company. He has experience of taking businesses through initial public offerings, or IPOs (the first sale of stock by a company to the public), mergers and acquisitions and financial restructurings and turnarounds. He is also a Chartered Management Accountant and often makes an investment himself in the businesses he helps to launch or expand.<\/p>\n
