We are over the moon to be able to share with you all that Paul Barnes is Manchester’s Finance Professional of the Year 2014!
Last night at the glitzy Manchester Young Talent Awards (in the prestigious Midland Hotel), we were doing our very best to appear cool & sophisticated.
We knew we had been shortlisted in the Finance Professional of the Year category – but we also knew we were up against RBS, Hurst Accountants and KPMG. Big names. The kind that win awards. We were honoured enough to be shortlisted.
Paul says, “Imagine our surprise when our name was called out! (I almost dropped my phone in the soup).
I know I must’ve grinned like a fool all night – the quality of the other nominees (in all categories) was incredibly high, and I felt even more honoured as I mingled with the best young talent in Manchester.
I’m incredibly proud of our whole team – it’s brilliant to get recognition, especially when we’re not yet a year old.”
It’s even more brilliant, since we work so much with young creative agencies in the Manchester area. To be recognised as young talent in Manchester ourselves – whilst running an accountancy business, no less! – fits in so well with our aims.
Most of all, we’re immensely grateful to all you friends, colleagues, clients and acquaintances for helping us create a modern accountancy practice dedicated to serving the local business community.
