Thank you to a wonderful client base and an amazing team

You might have noticed a certain amount of excitement at My Accountancy Place HQ yesterday. And that’s because we were looking forward to a night at The Talk of Manchester Business Awards.

Paul Kilroe did a fantastic job of putting on a such a great night with Manchester’s hardworking, ambitious and fun loving businesses. We were then honoured to win the award for our category.

We’re now the proud winners of Best Boutique Accountancy Practice 2015!

*cue ‘We Are The Champions’ music and a barrage of party poppers*

Congratulations to the other winners

We were incredibly pleased to win the Best Boutique Accountancy Practice category. And we now have a very lovely (and very orange) trophy to add to the cabinet.

After winning a special commendation award at last year’s ceremony, we were humbled to come home with first place this year. Hearing the My Accountancy Place name being read out and walking to the stage with the rest of the team to collect the award was amazing.

We really are over the moon. And we want to congratulate all the other winners on the night, especially Kay Johnson Gee who took home the award for the Best Large Accountancy Practice.

Most of all, we were immensely proud to watch many of our clients sweep up numerous nominations and award wins.

A great way to end the year

It’s been a truly incredible year for My Accountancy Place and to win this award really has been the icing on a particularly tasty cake.

Thanks again to everyone who voted for us, to everyone who has supported us along the way and to our clients and team who are making the firm what it is today!

 

A special mention has to go out to our team. I have received numerous messages of high praise for the way that each of you have serviced our valuable clients this year. I am fortunate to get to work with such talented, committed and passionate people every day and it’s on days like this (when I’m feeling pretty sleepy from a late night of celebrating) that you keep me going with your passion and work ethic. Thank you to our clients for continually giving constructive feedback. Please, please, please keep it up as it’s the only way we truly improve the work we do for you.
